Spring is finally here and there is much news to share! In the past few months of no blog posts lots has happened! In January my husband, Corey, and I welcomed our son, Samuel, into the world. We are in awe daily at how our lives have been transformed on every level since his arrival. We've had the blessing of being able to hibernate over the last few months and adjust to a new way of life, but now that the ground is thawing I am feeling my creative momentum building again and am ready to seriously get back to the studio! I've actually had a few hours here and there in the last few weeks to get the juices going and already a few projects are under way. Stay tuned...
In other news, for those of you who may have known me through or visited me at INFLUX Jewellery Gallery in Calgary in the last 6 1/2 years, as of March 1 I can no longer claim to be a co-owner of this marvelous venue for contemporary Canadian art jewellery! My partners and I sold INFLUX and it is now in the loving hands of Amanda Clark and Jeff Kitteringham. They are the perfect team to take the business over --- Amanda with an arts & design background specializing in jewellery and Jeff with strength in numbers, as in he is the accountant. The vision remains the same and my work will continue to be represented by the gallery alongside a brilliant and growing collection of artists from across the country.
